QUALITY POLICY
Since our foundation in 1959, we have earned the trust of our partners by offering them personalized service and advice.
Our quality policy summarizes the essential elements of our commitment to excellence, and includes :
Our commitment is and will remain the fruit of teamwork, and everyone’s support and commitment are essential if we are to achieve our quality objectives. In this context, we are determined to provide the necessary leadership and resources.

ISO9001: 2015
Since the company was taken over by the new management team in October 2019, implementing a quality management system and obtaining certification has been one of the company’s top priorities.
The decision to obtain ISO 9001:2015 certification testifies to our determination to continually improve our services. To comply with ISO 9001: 2015, the Atela SA team passed a comprehensive company-wide audit by SGS, and the certificate was awarded in April 2021.
Achieving ISO 9001:2015 certification was the 1st step in our continuous improvement process, which defines a sound basis and lays down the criteria applicable to a quality management system.
This was followed by ISO 14001:2015 certification, which defines the criteria for an environmental management system. On the basis of these two certifications, we will continue to progress with the help of our ERP system to digitalize and guide our production in order to provide our customers with superior quality service.

Departments
The first phase of our production site, vapor degreasing, is a technology that does not release toxic vapors, and does not harm the environment or employees.
Sandblasting is the first step in activating the surface finish of parts to improve coating adhesion.
A protective lacquer is applied to allow selective treatment of parts by zone.
Mounting the parts to be treated, on specific supports, is essential to ensure uniform treatment.
Our electroless nickel plating capabilities are considerable, with lifting capacities of up to two tons, and a tank containing two thousand liters that can accommodate parts up to two meters long.
We are above all a partner to our customers, rather than a subcontractor, because the work we do is the result of developments orchestrated in collaboration with the customer. Numerous contracts have been signed in collaboration with EPFL, CSEM and CERN.
We are in constant contact with the Office de l’environnement, to whom we regularly provide reports on effluent analyses carried out in our physicochemical treatment plant.
